Welcome to the official adoption web site of the Weimer Bunch.
If you have followed our journey for some time now, you are familiar with our story. In January of 2007, God called us into the amazing adventure of adoption. Since then, our lives have not been the same.
Originally, our family of five had planned on adopting a baby or two from Ethiopia. But, God had other plans. In June 2007, Heidi and our oldest biological son (Brandon) traveled to Ethiopia on a mission trip to work with orphans. On that trip, they met three amazing children that only six months later would become part of our family. Three boys, three girls...Three blondies and three Ethiopians...All now joined as One Family with One Heart. You can go back and read our entire journey on our blog site (link to the left), but in short, that's the way that we became the Weimer Bunch.
Fast-forward to July 2008. God speaks again and stirs our hearts to adopt yet again. Again from Ethiopia. And again a sibling group of three. And again it is requiring us to step out in faith and sacrifice the comfortable and ordinary for the insane and extraordinary!
